Here is part 2 of the interview I had with David and Colleen Black, Realtors with Keller Williams Realty in Alabaster, Alabama. In this last installment we continue the discussion of what homeowners can do to help sell their home as well as talk about new banking regulations such as the HVCC which is affecting how appraisers are being chosen to perform appraisals. Thanks Ryan. A lot of people do not understand the implications of HVCC on their appraisal. I like to explain to realtors and homeowners what it means to them bottom line. In addition, the value of the pre-appraisal is immeasurable. It can save FSBO’s and realtors headaches by making sure the home is priced correctly up front rather than towards the end of the transaction.
